The message:

My meme was created to display the harsh conditions of heat stress. It is very common and a lot of people don't realize it the impact on their health.  It can be common places of work, school, and environments like sitting in traffic with trapped heat and poor ventilation. The dry heat can led to  fatigue, drowsiness, dehydration, and corrupts critical thinking. Heat stress can be sensitive to those who suffer from breathing complications, diabetes, asthma, and anemic individuals. I decided to create my meme that inspired me because the art building faces the harsh reality of heat stress in some rooms. The situation was brought to me by sitting in one of the classrooms, caught fatigue.and struggled to have an appetite due to heat stress. The topic I choose was to show awareness for heat stress and can have a negative impact to those who have kids younger than 4 and elderly people over the age of 65 or underlying health condition.

Part 1: How can memes act as a form of resistance and advocacy?

Memes play an important part of people's lives in the present time. It can act as a form of resistance and advocacy by showing an image or slogan to present a persons's message. It can be direct, it can also have a hidden message behind the imagery. A meme can be a digital protest, it can be about a popular scandal, display awareness for the LGBQ Community or something hilarious to show other people.

Part 2: What is patriarchy?

 Patriarchy plays a important role being an political/social system and makes males inherently dominate over everything. That men are superior making everyone else weak, power over anything that includes women. Men have the dominate freedom to maintain dominance in the gender roles for generations, carried through various forms where some are psychological  stages of violence. Patriarchy rules men are the dominant sex and has the power advantage to make decisions over females. Patriarchalism is men having the primary authority and seemed rightfully leading when it comes to society. To people epicially women,  Patriarchy  has a negative impact on women’s presence to be belittled and take in verbal abuse. Women are taught to cater to men and men are likely to get away with the consequences led by violence.
