MIDTERM PROJECT
WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?
My project was originally supposed to be a painting, but due to a lack of time it became a collection of different posters, some in color, some black and white, some with written messages and some empty.
The whole point of this project is create awareness by confronting any potential observers with a shocking pictures that reminds them what our government is trying to hide, most posters were placed around our campus in the art building, with some others in the main campus and some more in public spaces (I pasted them in transited areas like the Light rail station)
INSPIRATION
Our president Donald Trump appeared in more than 5,300 separate times in the Epstein files, with over 38,000 total references
Some crimes are so severe that they transcend politics. They demand transparency, accountability, and careful investigation, regardless of status or influence. My intention with this intervention is not to inflame division, but to emphasize the importance of confronting uncomfortable truths and ensuring that no individual is beyond examination under the law. Since court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s case have been publicly discussed, questions have arisen regarding the involvement and associations of various powerful individuals. Among those whose names have appeared in publicly released materials is former President Donald Trump. Supporters and political allies have often dismissed or minimized the significance of these references, framing the issue as partisan or politically motivated.
CREATION
I started conceptualizing this project since before the assignment was announces, this class inspired me to create something that advocated for change. I first had the idea while at home, I sketched the first concept in my journal and then did the actual sketch on my sketchbook, From there I added colors and finished the project digitally in my computer.
